Hang the washing up! Votes for Women! A subversive cotton tea towel to celebrate the campaign for women’s suffrage, first enacted in UK legislation in 1918 and extended in 1928. Decorated with iconic Suffragette characters by contemporary British artist Alison Gardiner. The image is screen-printed and hand-finished; created in one of Lancashire's traditional mill towns, which has been producing cotton since the Industrial Revolution. Made in England, this printed cotton tea towel is the perfect gift for anyone with a love of women's history.
