Scientists and Inventors Mug

New bone china mug celebrating the spirit of human discovery, its detailed design charting great minds and their breakthroughs from Archimedes (c. 287–212 BC) and his screw, an ingenious device for raising water still used in irrigation today, through to the modern age of scientific achievement. The history of invention traced across the mug reflects centuries of human curiosity and ingenuity, from the mechanical innovations of the ancient world through the great scientific revolutions that followed, each breakthrough building on the last. Made in Britain, it is thoughtful for the curious and the endlessly inquiring, or for any lover of science and its history.
