The invention of the snow globe is widely attributed to Austrian Erwin Perzy when looking create a brighter light source for use as a surgical lamp. When adding reflective particles to a water-filled flask, which was used to focus candlelight, the effect reminded him of snowfall.

The Snow Globe is for a present and I'm sure the person who receives it will love it as they have always loved the globes but also loves Robins their favourite bird I'm sure if any-one else sees it they will love it as well. A very good buy.
