Robin Crackers

Set of six handmade crackers with a festive design inspired by 'The Robin' (1831) by Harrison William Weir (1824–1906), who frequently illustrated robins in festive settings for Christmas cards. Weir was one of the most prolific and beloved illustrators of the Victorian era, renowned for his sensitive depictions of animals and birds, and his robin illustrations played a significant role in cementing the bird's association with Christmas at a time when the sending of cards was transforming the visual language of the festive season. These Christmas crackers are complete with a botanical and cream ribbon trim.
