Description
A petite strawberry-shaped creamer jug, perfect for serving a soupçon - or a surfeit! - of cream with desserts or coffee. Created in tactile painted stoneware with the strawberry’s ‘stalk’ making a chunky handle and the tip of the strawberry as the spout. Emulating the naturalistic form of 19th century majolica ware, the classic combination of strawberries and cream is thought to have been first served at a banquet hosted by Thomas Wolsey (1473-1530). Sure to add delight to a dish of strawberries and cream, the jug is ideal for summer dining and afternoon tea.
