Description
Christmas tree-shaped acacia wood serving tray with three printed ceramic dishes, recalling the whimsical tableware of the 1930s. That decade produced some of the most inventive and characterful domestic ceramics of the 20th century, as potters and designers in Britain and beyond embraced bold shapes, bright colours and playful novelty forms, pieces by Clarice Cliff and Susie Cooper turned the tea table into an arena of wit and visual delight. Ideal for serving festive nibbles such as roasted nuts, mini mince pies or chocolate truffles, one dish to each branch of the tree.

Nicely boxed, and very pretty. Brought as a festive gift. Just large enough for nuts, olives or small items to hand around at Christmas. .

This is a lovely trio of dishes that can be used with or without the tray, and the tray could also be used on it's own, so it's very versatile. Lovely decoration and great quality.
