Erzgebirge LED Scene

Charming LED illuminated Christmas scene recalling the wooden ornaments crafted in the Erzgebirge, the Ore Mountains of Saxony on the German-Czech border, famed since the nineteenth century for their festive woodcraft. The region's tradition of turned and carved wooden figures grew out of its long mining history, craftsmen turning to woodworking as mineral seams dwindled, and by the Victorian era Erzgebirge toys and decorations, including the smoking figures and pyramid carousels still popular today, were prized across Europe for their fine detail and charm. Hand-painted plywood is set with seven flickering LED taper candles and faux greenery, capturing the warmth of a traditional German Christmas. Delightful as a Christmas gift for anyone who loves traditional festive craft.
