Blue Tits Mug

RSPB
‘"Tweet" pipes the robin as the cat creeps by / Her nestling young that in the elderns lie, / And then the bluecap tootles in its glee, / Picking the flies from orchard apple tree’, ‘The Fire Tail’s Nest’ by John Clare (1793-1864)
A pretty porcelain mug decorated with a wrap-around design of flowering hawthorn, two perching blue tits and a Common Blue butterfly; reproducing a contemporary illustration by British artist Catherine Brewer. Much-loved, the birds have been known by many names – from Blue Caps and Blue Bonnets; to Pick cheese in Norfolk and Blue Spick in Devon. The practical, chunky porcelain shape is perfect for enjoying a beverage while watching the garden birds – or even better when sharing a warm drink with a friend. Individually boxed and presented in plastic-free packaging.
