Hand-enamelled and crystal set costume brooch echoing the styles created in the 1910s by Henri Vever (1854–1942). This delightful brooch is set in silver with intricate blue crystals in a butterfly design. Art Nouveau jewellery was characterised by sinuous lines, organic designs inspired by nature, delicate craftsmanship and the use of precious materials, and this brooch captures the essence of the movement.
