Description

Indulge yourself in our truly unique bracelet set with authentic Roman glass, each piece with a unique patina having lain buried for around 2,000 years. Delicate rounded silver links are paired with Roman glass in dabbled shades of blue. Originally developed from Hellenistic traditions, glass production underwent a significant transformation in the first century AD with the advent of mouth-blown vessels. Pliny’s ‘Natural History’ states that ‘the most highly valued glass is colourless and transparent, as closely as possible resembling rock crystal’. This delightful bracelet is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
