Description

Costume brooch set with blue crystals, the design is based on a motif from ‘Peacock Feathers’, a work from 1887 that showcases the popular use of peacock feathers in Art Nouveau designs. Considered a symbol of immortality, peacock feathers were a favourite motif among designers of this period. This brooch is particularly inspired by the work of Arthur Silver, the founder of the Silver Studio in 1880.
