Gold-plated cloisonné drop earrings celebrating the centuries-old technique of Chinese enamelling. During his reign (1662–1722), the Kangxi Emperor established cloisonné workshops within the Imperial Palace, elevating the craft to new heights. Cloisonné, with its vivid colours and intricate wirework, became prized in Europe during the 18th and 19th centuries, reflecting cross-cultural exchange and the Victorian passion for Oriental art. These earrings continue that tradition, blending historical opulence with contemporary design.
