Hildyard Pearl & Gemstone Necklace

Pearl necklace combining freshwater pearls with cherry quartz, amethyst, Citrine and aquamarine, inspired by a miniature portrait of Lady Hildyard by John Smart (1740–1811). Smart was a leading miniaturist of Georgian England, celebrated for his precision and refined colour palette. His works often captured the wealth and grace of Britain’s upper classes, with jewellery playing a central role in these delicate portraits. This design revives that elegance in a wearable form.
