Enamel & Pearl Wave Pendant

Elegant gold-plated silver pendant, hand-enamelled and set with freshwater pearls, inspired by the waves captured in Katsushika Hokusai's (1760-1849) Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. Published between 1830 and 1832, the series made the wave one of the most powerful images in Japanese printmaking, a motif of movement, rhythm and nature's force. Freshwater pearls soften the design with a luminous finish.
