Charming gold-plated brooch based on Edgar Degas’ sculpture 'La Petit Danseuse', completed and exhibited in wax in 1881. Degas was particularly drawn to the world of ballet and dance and often portrayed dancers backstage or in rehearsal. Pin on a shirt, jacket, scarf or bag for a delicate finishing touch.
