Description

This pretty hand-enamelled and crystal set pewter box recalls the rounder shapes of tea pots which returned to favour in the late 19th century following the pear shaped designs of the 18th century and straight sided forms of the 1800s. The late 19th century saw the rise in ornately designed teapots that could be used as decorative items in homes. This design echoes the Victorian love of eclectic collectors’ items and contains a petite, matching costume pendant, the ideal gift for any tea lover. Smartly boxed.
