I'd already bought the rabbit that holds the tea light and so was expecting this to look similar but it was much darker, almost black, which was a surprise and I would have liked more of a 'gold' colour as the previous purchase had been. However, I still like it and like the way an ornament can also have a use--in this case holding a magnifying glass. I try to avoid buying ornaments which are ornaments for their own sake, so am a fan of these Victorian reprouctions.
