Description
Reflecting motifs given special meaning by the Victorians, this Lavender Heart Sachet is decorated with a beautiful floral motif. The pretty lavender scented heart is embroidered with a traditional ribbonwork design based on a 19th-century example. Such needlework reflected the Language of Flowers, where different blooms carried different sentiments. A delightful way to add fragrance to drawers and wardrobes, the lavender also works as a traditional moth repellent. Zip opening at the back to refill lavender.

These are beautifully made and make an excellent stand-by birthday gift. The lavender scent is quite strong and the outer casing can be removed for washing.
