I bought this as a gift and am very pleasantly surprised with the amount of detail and intricate carving. The hedehog has an expressive face and is captured mid-movement, adding to its realistic appearance. I like the way the ornament is wrapped, deep in polystyrene, then boxed - as though the small creature is hibernating. I'm sure the person I've bought this for will appreciate the opening up of the present, too.
