Attractive Gold Millefiori Paperweight formed using the timeless 'millefiori' technique, which dates back to ancient times but saw a revival during the Renaissance period. This technique involves fusing coloured glass rods to create intricate patterns, often featuring floral motifs, as reflected in the name 'millefiori' (thousand flowers). Crafted by Caithness Glass, a renowned Scottish artistic glassware company with a history dating back to 1961, this paperweight showcases traditional craftsmanship and embodies the beauty of this artistic glassmaking technique.
