Description
An inventive kit to build a working refractor telescope with 16X magnification. An ingenious UK design creates a telescope from press-out cardboard pieces and is complete with lenses, degree finder, finder scope and sliding focus tube. Inspired by the refracting telescope technology pioneered by Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) in 1609, the kit includes a glass lens, a plastic eyepiece lens and glass mirror. Galileo used his telescope to observe Jupiter’s satellites, sun spots and the lunar surface. This impressive, slot-together construction kit will allow you to observe the craters of the moon, and more. With step-by-step instructions and no glue required you will be fascinated by the faraway sights you can study. Created from sustainable FSC materials. A kit to enthral stargazers of all ages.
