Echoing the practical wicker storage popular in the late 1800s, this storage seat combines a wooden frame with solid dark blue paint finish and natural waxed oak top plus two practically sized seagrass wicker baskets, making an ideal hallway storage unit and extra seat. Wicker was popularised in the 19th century following the belief that it was more sanitary than upholstered furniture, and it was often inexpensive and resistant to harsh weathers. This storage seat makes for a functional and beautiful addition to any hallway.
