Striking devore-velvet cover-up inspired by the intricate patterns found on 1920s Japanese kimonos or ‘gofuku’, a term used for these traditional garments which originated with the introduction of silk textiles from China’s ancient kingdom ‘Go’ and ‘fuku’ meaning clothing. This bold design combines green and pink patterns on a navy background, complete with short sleeves and no fastenings. The richly detailed design captures the essence of Japanese artistry and the glamour of the Roaring Twenties.
