Description
Multicoloured floral print a-line dress recalling watercolour studies from the 1930s. Crafted from soft cotton jersey and designed in a relaxed, pull-on style for effortless wear. It has ¾-length sleeves, side seam pockets, and a panelled waist at the bodice, accented with a fabric tie. The dress is unlined and falls to a maxi length for a comfortable, elegant silhouette. The tree peony of Moutan arrived in Britain from China 1789 and quickly became a favourite in ornamental gardens. Its bold form made it popular with artists and botanical illustrators throughout the 19th century.
Made exclusively for Museum Selection.
To keep your garment pristine during transit, it has been carefully sealed in protective packaging. On arrival, we recommend airing it briefly to release any residual aroma and to let the fabric breathe before wear.

It came later than expected, but exactly to the garden party. Nice dress, could be a little smaller.

The dress was badly sewn together. The belt band on the front was wonky and the fit was too big. Disappointing
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the Peony Jersey Dress did not meet your expectations and that you were disappointed with the quality and fit. We have passed your feedback on to the relevant team for review. Kind regards, Alice.

I have had nice garments from Museum Selection in the past.
Unfortunately, not this time. Lovely colours and style but very poor quality fabric. The jersey has a coarse weave which makes it look dull and cheap.
Not up to your usual standard so I have returned the dress.
With £5.99 postage and the extra cost of returning by post, this has effectively cost me over £10.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the Peony Jersey Dress did not meet your expectations and that you were disappointed with the quality of the fabric. Our customer service team have been in touch. Kind regards, Alice.

This is a pretty dress in a jersey fabric which is not flimsy. Unfortunately I had to return it as it was too big. I am not as tall as someone who would be more siuted to the style.

Looks fine and look forward to trying it on when I am better. Very pretty dress and material. Glad it can be washed in the washing machine (both dresses).

This is a beautiful summer dress I bought for a wedding in June. The quality is outstanding. Lovely fabric and is a very good fit. Very stylish without being too over the top. I can dress it up for the wedding but will get plenty of wear out of it for less formal occasions. The colours are identical to the photographs on the website and the pictures in the catalogue. I'm so looking forward to wearing it all summer.
