Cotton robe printed in soft hues on a white ground with a hummingbird and foliage design, inspired by studies by Johann Michael Seligmann (1720–62), German artist and engraver best known for his ornithological work. Seligmann’s engravings brought the wonders of exotic birds to European audiences, fueling the Enlightenment’s passion for natural history. Crafted in a relaxed fit with ¾-length sleeves, patch pockets and adjustable waist tie and midi length.
