Coromandel Reversible Jacket

Hand-block printed reversible jacket echoing 19th-century textiles from the Coromandel Coast, a historic centre of Indian cotton production. European demand for these rich fabrics shaped global trade and fashion during the colonial period. This lightly quilted cotton jacket reverses to a plain dark blue and features gold sequin trims along the front opening and around the neckline. It has a relaxed fit with fabric button and loop fastening down the front, full-length sleeves with split cuffs and side seam pockets. Finished with a blue binding for a refined touch.
