Description
Lightly quilted floral cotton jacket reproducing Compton, a textile design created by John Henry Dearle in 1896 for the house of Laurence Hodson. Dearle, a key figure at Morris & Co., succeeded William Morris and carried the Arts and Crafts style into the 20th century. Compton was one of his most complex designs, with layered floral motifs and medieval-inspired symmetry. Reversible to plain olive, this jacket is stylishly finished with contrast binding.

Made exclusively for Museum Selection.
To keep your garment pristine during transit, it has been carefully sealed in protective packaging. On arrival, we recommend airing it briefly to release any residual aroma and to let the fabric breathe before wear.
