Corduroy dress in a rich burgundy with pretty, floral embroidery inspired by a 19th-century smock. The term ‘corduroy’ was first coined in the 18th century and is widely believed to have been derived from the French translation ‘corde du roi’, ‘the cord of the king’. Generous fit with v-neckline, pin-tucking details on the front bodice and full-length sleeves. Button fastening to waist. Perfect for wearing on a relaxed day out or a casual gathering.

Nice dress, the same as the green one I bought years ago. However, please contact Royal Mail. I asked them to deliver it to a local shop, they left it behind a trellis and said they had left it in a "porch". Luckily it was well wrapped, or it would have got rained on.

i love this dress, very comfortable, lovely colour, i felt so smart wearing it with my ankle boots, everyone including my husband said how nice it looked on me, it flows around me when i walk, it did not ride up as some dress do, i am very pleased with my dress.

Lovely dress - fits beautifully in the correct size, and I like the touch of embroidery on the front. Nice warm fabric, with room for a T-shirt underneath if the weather gets really cold.

This is a beautiful dress: nice relaxed design and pretty embroidery, but the thinness of the corduroy lets it down. Really flimsy, when it should have felt like a reasonably weighty winter dress. Very disappointed, so I returned it.
