Floral printed cotton corduroy tunic with a design of trailing flowers in green, purple and orange on a navy background, inspired by a nineteenth-century French textile. French textile design of this period was hugely influential across Europe, with Lyon in particular renowned as a centre of fine silk and cotton weaving, its patterns prized for combining naturalistic floral detail with elegant, flowing composition. Pull-on style, with a round neckline, notch detail and full-length sleeves.
