Rinceau Cotton Tunic

Striking cotton tunic printed with multicoloured florals on burgundy, echoing the scrollwork pattern on a 17th-century pietra dura casket, the technique of inlaying hard and semi-precious stones in elaborate decorative motifs that flourished in Renaissance Florence and became one of the most technically demanding and visually spectacular arts of the Italian decorative tradition. It features a relaxed fit, mother-of-pearl buttons, pintucking, button cuffs and piping. A distinctive piece with rich colour and decorative detail.
