Paisley Cotton Blouse

Paisley cotton blouse in ochre, yellow, red and green on a black ground. The paisley that gained immense popularity in 19th-century Britain after being imported from India and adapted by weavers in Paisley, Scotland. The design became associated with luxury and cultural exchange. This blouse features a relaxed fit with a mandarin collar, V-notch neckline and ¾-length sleeves with split cuffs. Fabric-covered buttons run to the waist, accented by contrast topstitching and a floral embroidered tab on the button placket. Finished with subtle gathering and side splits for ease and style.
