Floral Blooms Corduroy Tunic

Red floral corduroy tunic, printed with blooms in white, ecru and green. 'Corduroy' derives from 'cord' and 'duroy', a coarse English woollen cloth fashionable since the 18th century. By the 19th century, cotton corduroy had become the fabric of choice for working men's wear across Britain and France, its soft ridged pile offering warmth and durability, before it was gradually reclaimed by fashion designers in the 20th century as a fabric of relaxed, intellectual distinction. This unlined tunic has a relaxed fit with three-quarter length sleeves, patch pockets and crochet trim.
