Book of Hours Embroidered Tunic

Cotton tunic in red with floral embroidery recalling details from the Rothchild Hours, a Flemish illuminated book (c.1500-20). The Book of Hours were private devotional books, popular in medieval Europe, containing prayers, psalms and other religious texts, often illuminated with intricate illustrations and decorations. Crafted in a relaxed fit with buttons to below the chest, pintucking details, 3/4 length sleeves and side splits. Pair it with slim trousers or leggings for a balanced silhouette.
