Bauer Corduroy Dress

Multicoloured cotton corduroy dress is inspired by the botanical illustrations of Franz Andreas Bauer (1758–1840), court botanical painter to Queen Charlotte. Bauer’s meticulously rendered studies combined scientific rigour with artistic finesse, contributing to 18th- and 19th-century botanical publications. This dress features a relaxed fit with a collar, ¾-length sleeves, and buttoned cuffs. It fastens with coconut shell buttons down the front and has a gently gathered, waisted skirt. Unlined and midi length for effortless style and comfort.
