The British Library
Sit down and delive into a classic mystery murder, chosen from the ‘golden age’ of British crime fiction. Death in White Pyjamas: a light-hearted, theatrical country house murder mystery from the pen of acclaimed writer John Bude, the pen name of Ernest Elmore (1901-57). As the cast of the new play ‘Pigs in Porcelain’ gather at Old Knolle, the country retreat of impresario Sam Richardson, acting rivalries are soon overshadowed when one of the company’s body is discovered dressed in somebody else’s pyjamas. First published in 1942. Also includes the short story ' Death Knows No Calendar', originally published in 1944.

I enjoyed this book a lot - a good old fashioned detective story, well two to be exact. Very well written - similar to Ngaio Marsh's books
