Description
Biggles flies again! A new hardback edition republishes one of the, almost, 100 classic Biggles books by Capt. William Earl Johns (1893-1968).

Another case for the Scotland Yard Air Squad, sees Biggles and his team flying into the Antarctic wastes. An old wartime pal, Captain ‘Grimy’ Grimes, tells Biggles of a mysterious ghost ship sighted in the ice and Biggles realises it must be a sighting of the legendary lost schooner the Starry Crown, which disappeared over 70 years before carrying a cargo of Australian gold. Flying south, can Biggles and his comrades find the ‘ghost’ ship and its treasure? Facing Antarctic cold, Biggles must find Algy, who floats out to sea an ice floe, and battle the seal poacher and ‘bad hat’ Lavinsky. Another ripping yarn filled with aerial feats, tight scrapes and derring do to delight any Biggles fan.
