Description
Elegant habotai silk scarf evoking the work of Pierre-Joseph Redoute (1759-1840), known as the 'Raphael of Flowers' and the most celebrated botanical illustrator of his age, whose detailed and luminous watercolours of roses, produced under the patronage of the Empress Josephine at Malmaison, remain the most beautiful and authoritative record of the rose in all its variety ever made. Delicate print of dog roses and rose hips in soft hues on a mint green ground; with hand-rolled hems, the design will be paler on the reverse. Soft rose tones and a fresh mint ground make this a graceful botanical accessory.

Made exclusively for Museum Selection.
