A lepidopterist’s delight, this colourful silk scarf features a montage of butterflies based on ‘Le Jardin Des Plantes’ (1842) by Paul Gervais (1816–1879). Gervais’s detailed illustrations contributed to the Victorian passion for natural history and inspired decorative arts throughout the 19th century. This multicoloured scarf is stylishly finished with hand-rolled hems. Design may be paler on the reverse.
