Magnolias & Irises Socks

Black cotton blend socks in a multicoloured floral combining motifs from two masterworks of Art Nouveau design, the Magnolia and Irises leaded-glass window (c.1908) by the Tiffany Studio, and a wallpaper by Walter Crane (1845-1915) first produced around 1895. The Tiffany Studio, under Louis Comfort Tiffany and his chief designer Clara Driscoll, transformed decorative glass into a fine art form of the first order; Crane, a close associate of William Morris and a leading figure of the Arts and Crafts movement, brought to wallpaper design a quality of botanical invention and formal richness that made his patterns among the most celebrated of his generation.
