Leicester Compact Umbrella

Smart and compact, an umbrella to cheer up rainy days with a bold floral and foliage printed canopy mixing celandines, dianthus and acanthus leaves. Designed as a wallpaper for Morris and Co. in 1912 by J.H. Dearle (1859-1932), ‘Leicester’ was inspired by ‘Bachelor’s Button’ from 1892 and evokes the richness of medieval tapestries. With a reinforced but lightweight aluminium frame, the handle extends in two sections to store as a handbag and pocket-friendly design. With a matching zip closure storage sleeve, Velcro-tab and a handy wrist strap the umbrella is perfect to keep handy in changeable British weather.
