Tapestry bag inspired by Hokusai’s iconic woodblock print The Great Wave off Kanagawa (c.1829), part of his renowned Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji series. Hokusai’s ukiyo-e prints were pivotal in introducing Japanese art to the West during the 19th century and remain celebrated for their dramatic composition and use of colour.
