Glasgow Embroidered Glasses Case

A soft velvet glasses case in dusky lilac, embroidered with cream floral motifs and embellished with bronze-tone beads. The design recalls the watercolours of Margaret Macdonald (1864–1933), a key figure in the Glasgow School and wife of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Her ethereal, symbolist art combined organic forms with a strong decorative sensibility. Crafted from a rayon and cotton blend, this glasses case features a zip closure with a gold lurex tassel and a soft lined interior for added protection.
