Description
Faux parrot tulips blooms set in a glass vase inspired by oil paintings of Jacob Marrel (1613/1614–81), a German still life painter. Throughout the Dutch Golden Age, tulip bulbs commanded a high value on trade markets, prized for their rarity. In the 17th century, it became fashionable to display tulips as the flowers grew in popularity and demand. Professional growers would pay a high price for rare bulbs and specimens, planting these across the grand gardens of the era. Our artificial flower arrangement features a floral display of tulips in full-bloom, presented in a classic glass vase.

I love tulips but natural ones have a short season so these faux blooms are a great solution. They brighten my slate hearth beautifully
