Pate was particularly favoured by European nobility in the 16th and 17th centuries; records for a banquet show no less than 9 varieties of pate, including heron, pigeon, venison, veal, turkey and hare.
These delicious artisanal rillettes and pate prepared near Bude, using local ingredients and seasoned with Cornish sea salt. Pork: free range Cornish lop pork from the makerís farm, slow poached in duck fat, shredded and then laced with a slug of sloe gin. Duck: slow-poached locally-reared duck, shredded and seasoned with Grand Marnier-soaked cranberries. Salmon: deliciously buttery and lightly textured, salmon laced with lemon oil.

Each 110g; glass jars 4 ľĒ tall.
No need to refrigerate until opened.
Pork and duck rillettes contain sulphites and alcohol, age 18+.
Salmon contains fish and milk.
Produced in a kitchen which uses nuts and sesame seeds.
