Remote Control Battle Tanks

The tank was first deployed at the Battle of the Somme in September 1916 but the British Tank Corps scored their first military success at Cambrai in November 1917, and then victory at the Battle of Amiens in 1918. A set of 2 remote control tanks, 8” long with infrared turrets, sound effects and flashing lights to stage your own infrared battle game. Manoeuvre on caterpillar tracks, take aim at your opponent’s tank sensor, pull the trigger and fire an infrared ‘round’; the tanks even rock on recoil and impact for an authentic feel. Hit a tank 4 times to defeat it, triggering an explosion sound-effect, knocking out the enemy’s controls. 2 designs: desert camouflage round turret and jungle camouflage square turret.

Plastic, rubber and metal parts.
Tanks 8” long x 3” wide, 3” wide remote controllers.
12” x 9” x 3” boxed.
Requires 8 x AAA batteries (not included).
Includes 6 x AG13 (LR44) batteries.
Age 5+.

Bought these for my Grand Child to play with. Not very impressed due to the fact that the tanks won''t drive on anything but a completely smooth surface. Try to turn them on a carpet and the caterpillar tracks will derail rendering them useless. The whole point of tank tracks is that they will drive over anything within reason, as I well remember from toys I had when I was a child.
