Reflecting the Japanese influence, refined gift-wrap, blending details of temples and bridges in the snow from mid-19th century woodblocks by Utagawa Hiroshige and Katsushika Hokusai, and 17th century Tosa school screen paintings of bamboo and imagined landscapes.
