Earl Grey Pyramid Tea Bags Tin

The first tea bag patents date from c.19034 and were designed for the convenient transport of tea, resembling small sacks, rather than the convenience of brewing a cup; rectangular shaped-tea bags were introduced in 1944. Since then, pyramid shaped tea bags were invented by Brooke Bond in 1997. Whole leaf Sri Lankan Earl Grey tea; the large, biodegradable pyramid tea bags give the leaves maximum room to infuse. The leaves are not torn or broken during production which creates a fuller, more complex flavour.

Earl Grey: black tea blended with Bergamot flavour and blue mallow petals.
Contains15 x 3g pyramid teabags; 4" tall tin.
